Look Who Earned Some Spots!

Spot on Success showcases our star children who have made notable progress in therapy worthy of bragging rights! Each of these children is featured on our Spot on Success Wall.

Started in February 2016, this project is popular with the children, parents, therapists, staff, other professionals, and even visitors.

TheraPlay Spot is proud of all of our Spot Kids! Our therapists are also all "brag-worthy," and this page allows us to feature them as well. Thank you for the treasured testimonials you've given us. Without your support, TheraPlay Spot would not exist.

We love being the place where hard work feels a whole lot like fun!

Andrea & Phoneix

Phoenix came to TheraPlay Spot 1.5 years ago. He has made great improvements in PT. He runs, kicks a ball, throws, catches, and can ride a bike. He has gained so many skills. He enjoys coming to see Mrs. Andrea every week. She was so helpful when he broke his leg, helping him get back to walking and running.

Britni & Frank

Frank started speech with Mrs. Britni of 2020. She has been the consistent driving force in Frank’s development journey. They have a very SPECIAL bond. Recently Mrs. Britni played a vital role partnering with his school to help acquire Frank’s AAC device. The device has been a game changer to unlock his expressive language. As parents hearing Frank use his voice is a DREAM come true, he is even starting to answer questions. We love the play-based therapy approach practiced at TheraPlay Spot. Frank enjoys gym and swing time; it helps him regulate before jumping into a session. We believe this type of therapy is the best fit for Frank. We are so proud of Frank. He is an incredibly smart, hardworking, and kind boy. We can’t wait to see his development continue to grow. We truly believe there are no limits.

Thankful Parents, Frank and Melissa

Andrea & Ezra

Ezra has been coming to TheraPlay Spot since he was one year old. In the time since he’s started coming we’ve seen so much positive change. When he began to see Andrea for physical therapy, he was unable to navigate playgrounds safely, jump on trampolines, couldn’t walk up or down stairs effectively, and was terrified of ride on toys/swings. After less than a year of seeing Andrea, Ezra can now do most of those things and is now more willing to try ride on toys. He even started riding a three wheel scooter which is such a huge milestone for him. Ezra loves Andrea. Her kindness and patience towards him makes him feel so comfortable. Physical Therapy and Andrea have really made such a difference in our life. Ezra is willing to engage in play with us and try so many new things. He’s becoming such a brave, determined, and strong little boy thanks to Andrea and the other therapists at TheraPlay. TheraPlay isn’t just a therapy center for us, it’s a second home.
